DUDES FROM CALGARY
Last week two young guys from Calgary dropped into the studio in the afternoon. We gave them the tour and gave them our little Spark Box speech. We soon found out that both boys were in high school and interested in the arts. We chatted for awhile and then they headed out for the day. Oddly, a few hours later they came back up to the studio to get some more information about our workshops. We happened to be in the middle of teaching silkscreen and the process seemed to interest them. We gave them information about silkscreen and our workshops and they went off to find out if was something they could include in their vacation budget 
The next week they were back with their dad and ready to set up a date to come in for a two day workshop. In the end each of them left with four prints and a t-shirt!
Right on! Thank you guys so much for putting this up. totally cool. My dad went on your web sight and found your blurb about us dudes, so i figured i would write back. I dont think it was more than 2 days after we got back to calgary that i started getting complements from friends on the shirt, such as “Nice shirt man!”, and “Where’d you get that shirt?”. So i told them about the vacation and your studio and how we did the silk screening. I ended up sharpieing some parts of the shirt because my image of the spaceman and alien didnt turn out so well, and now i have one of my friends wanting to sharpie t-shirts with me and start a business. Thanks, Chrissy for the awesome t-shirts! if you guys have time, feel free to write back; i gave you my dad’s email so you might be hearing from him. Thanks guys and keep it up!
